We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Castro Valley, California office.
Our team is currently all working remotely from their homes, but we anticipate that a flexible office / work from home schedule will be implemented in the upcoming quarters.
As the Accounting Clerk based in our Castro Valley office, you will be responsible for working with and supporting Property Managers and Property Accountants in all Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and other department activities.
This means that it's important that you can multi-task and enjoy interacting with the broader Crosspoint Team.
This position also offers advancement opportunities as the individual shows capabilities to handle additional accounting activities.
Job Description:
Enter and apply daily cash receipts in accounting software.
Accurate and timely follow up and resolution for all accounts receivable.
Review and clear invoice exceptions in Avid workflow.
Assist in interpreting and resolving accounts payable discrepancies with vendors.
Request and maintain W-9 forms for vendors.
Assist with other related ad-hoc projects.
Ideal Candidate:
Good communication skills and comfortable working in Excel and similar software.
Enjoy multi-tasking in a small office environment.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Positive, responsible and reliable with good judgment.
