The Physical Therapy Tech position is an essential component of the clinical rehabilitation team.
The skills and knowledge obtained working along-side our expert clinicians will help develop the foundational skills and professional understanding necessary to take that next step in exploring a career as a PT/OT/PTA/OTA.
Essential Functions:
Patient-related tasks may include:
Assisting the PT with patient transportation/transfers and gait training Assisting the PT/OT with set-up and application of thermal and electrical modalities Assisting the PT/OT with supervising therapeutic exercise programs Assisting the PT/OT with the assembly and production of hard copy and digital home exercise programs Non-Patient related tasks may include:
General cleaning, disinfection and maintenance of therapeutic and gym equipment and high-touch surfaces Laundering and refreshing of linens Participation in emergency preparedness drills and exercises Participation in compliance-related education and training Participation in quality assurance activities Patient Chart creation Copay collection Other office type tasks as needed At VibrantCare Rehabilitation our VISION is to BE the BEST rehab provider within the communities we serve and our motto is one TEAM, one VISION.
